if you've done art for games Id love to have you on.
SKYPE IS perry.froelich
That would be a cool idea. Talk about concept of games, game mechanics, ideas, maybe how you do things vs other people (not you you, just someone).. sounds like a good idea to me :)
Although I would only listen to these ;)
I was thinking about segments.
like one I really wanted is a one time deal about madness regent vs madness interactive. And tell my opinion about simplicity and simple concepts need simplistic game designs. "You shoot people, do you really need 30 weapons to shoot a clown in the head?"
and one where we would just go through the fp from a animator and coders point of views.
it would be pretty cool
can I talk about how NOT to make a game?
I know all about that.
we will save that for the hawt and spicy podcast
it'd have as many fans as the newgrounds podcast
(none)
never heard of the newgrounds podcast, probably sucks.
though rina chans was kind of gay it had a bit of a following.
swearing no swearing, offensive stuff or no offensive stuff
if there was a reason to swear it'd be there.
Well, since artists can contribute I think I might try one, but I dunno.
Sounds fun!
I don't really have anything great on Newgrounds but you know I can do better :D
God damnit Zekey makes me laugh.
Srsly, any front page post I go into he's already said something great.
Oh anyways, maybe if I get a new mic but I don't see this going very far. Still I guess it's not harming anyone if you try.
he kind of just waits for new, news posts all night doesn't he?
It'd be great even if I'm extremely new to all of this flash game development extravaganza.
No, it won't be interesting if it were just artists and programmers talking. You'll need content.
there'd be some structure.
I listen to podcasts a fucking lot.
It'd depend on how boring/dumb it was though.
I do too thats why I wanted to
dude we should just have flash podcasts, where u can take ur fav's and put em on ur ipod
Doesn't sound too bad.. I'd contribute, seeing as I know a little bit about games etc, I just hope it doesn't turn into somthing for frontpage artists only, and you keep it more free and open. But knowing you I doubt that ;)
Hw funny, I was thinkign abotu experimenting with podcasting earliar today. I group podcast would be neat though. I dnt' think I'd contribute anythign meaningful to be included, but it'd be sweet to listen to.
Id love you on, to talk about actually like working with flash for armor games as you do.
I definitely would love to listen to a podcast where there was progress and positivity about the site.
ofcourse I would want you on, if you wouldnt mind lending your voice. Youve done a lot of graphics for games.
i pretty much agree with mindchamber, i think it would be cool to have a bi-monthly or monthly event out of it.. i think doing it weekly will be over your head and youll find it too much work.
I was thinking about it on my way home, how it could even include like artists trying to get into a game or programmers looking for artists.. thats one thing thats always been tough is matching people up. Sometimes its tough to do it on just aim/pm's
its just talking and its pretty simple, but editing would take time so monthly would be good enough. I think Imma do one and see what happens.
well ... the podcast that dekuboy made some time ago failed because he was never able to consistently deliver podcasts.. so know what you get yourself into if you are doing it weekly. thats all im sayin
okay, mind to come on sometime? Help me out.

Would this be "famous person" exclusive, and would it be like Rina-Chan's?
Perry
Uh no, it would not be like rina chan. It wouldn't be a interview, its more like a bunch of game creators (sometimes guests that contribute to communities) just talking about different concepts every week. The front page games, and their opinions on each aspect.
