Game news

Best Friends Forever 3 should be done sometime during christmas break, but theres not much news their, its just a remake of the first one pretty much.

Working on a sick game with Taro nuke, that should be done... someday?

The A OKs

I went to a big d and the kid table concert (Ft. Sonic Boom Six, and the Potato pirates) at the marquis last night, and the opener was a local band called the A oks, they were really sick, and so I start looking them up to see if they had a website or whatever so I can check out more of their music. And found out they had a newgrounds account, So I want you all to check them out.

http://theaoks.newgrounds.com/

They were good, Sonic Boom Six were decent, the female singers voice was the highest pitched thing I've ever heard in my life so I had to go sit in the hall for part of it because she was going to blow out my ears. Then Big d and the kids table were awesome as always, I got up on stage and stage dived which was pretty crazy. It was a sick concert.

Mcbess

And I shall leave you on a positive note

Bass! How low can you go?
Death row. What a brother knows.
Once again, back is the incredible
the rhyme animal
the incredible D, Public Enemy Number One
"Five-O" said, "Freeze!" and I got numb
Can I tell 'em that I really never had a gun?
But it's the wax that the Terminator X spun
Now they got me in a cell 'cause my records, they sell
'Cause a brother like me said, "Well...
...Frarrakhan's a prophet and I think you ought to listen to
what he can say to you, what you ought to do."
Follow for now, power of the people, say,
"Make a miracle, D, pump the lyrical"
Black is back, all in, we're gonna win
Check it out, yeah y'all c'mon, here we go again

Chorus: Turn it up! Bring the noise![x2]

Never badder than bad 'cause the brother is madder than mad
At the fact that's corrupt as a senator
Soul on roll, but you treat it like soap on a rope
'Cause the beats in the lines are so dope
Listen for lessons I'm saying inside music that the critics are all blasting
me for
They'll never care for the brothers and sisters
now across the country has us up for the war

We got to demonstrate, come on now, they're gonna have to wait
Till we get it right
Radio stations I question their blackness
They call themselves black, but we'll see if they'll play this

Turn it up! Bring the noise!
Turn it up! Bring the noise!

Get from in front of me, the crowd runs to me
My DJ is warm, he's X, I call him Norm, ya know
He can cut a record from side to side
So what, the ride, the glide should be much safer than a suicide
Soul control, beat is the father of your rock'n'roll
Music for whatcha, for whichin', you call a band, man
Makin' a music, abuse it, but you can't do it, ya know
You call 'em demos, but we ride limos, too
Whatcha gonna do? Rap is not afraid of you
Beat is for Sonny Bono, beat is for Yoko Ono
Run-DMC first said a DJ could be a band
Stand on its feet, get you out your seat
Beat is for Eric B. and LL, as well, hell
Wax is for Anthrax, still it can rock bells
Ever forever, universal, it will sell
Time for me to exit, Terminator X-it

Turn it up! Bring the noise!
Turn it up! Bring the noise!

From coast to coast, so you stop being like a comatose
"Stan my man, The beat's the same with a boost toast
Rock with some pizzazz, it will last. Why you ask?
Roll with the rock stars, still never get accepted as
We got to plead the Fifth, we can investigate
Don't need to wait, get the record straight
Hey, posse's in effect, got the Flavor Terminator
X to sign checks, play to get paid
We got to check it out down on the avenue
A magazine or two is dissing me and dissing you
Yeah, I'm telling you...

So if you saw my last post I had a bunch of events I had planned to attend in September, and the first one on the list "Modest Mouse, at the Fillmore" was amazing. So after school I walked down to chipotle with my friend, it was delicious, a little too hot for me, drank a izzy pegged a fence with the bottle, then went over to his house where we met up with his uncle and went to Modest Mouse, like 3 hours early. Lets just say we went at 5, and the concert didnt start till 8, but you know, Im glad we did. Because I forgot my ID, and one of the tickets his cousin sent us was under my name (which was not expected) so we went out back behind the tape, that taped off the back and the Modest Mouses crews bus.

So the drummer Jeremiah Green texted us a while back to meet him around back in like 10 minutes, so we see a guy coming out back to look to find us (he has never seen my friend or his uncle before, my friend being the cousin of his girlfriend, and his uncle being one of her uncles aswell) and as he walked out you can tell he realized "Oh shit, the line is around the building, how am I going to find them" but we called out his name, he told us to come back with him so we did, we chilled outside the backdoor while he smoked, he was a really nice guy, said hed fix the ticket dilema and we went into his stage crews bus and chilled.

This for me was very wierd, because I looked at my friend whos usually a chill dude, like sort of a bit emo even, and he was just freaking out, looking around at the bus grinning. I tried to stay quite, this was too spontaneous for me to have enough time to be pumped that I was in the death star of tour buses (or atleast the stage crews) so we sat in there, talking. He wasnt to vocal of a guy, but he told us how it was his stage crews can because his broke down, and he told us about his flight from salt lake city. I was for some reason mezmorized by him, because he had pulled a Michelangelo ninja turtle and was playing around with it. Which was fucking wierd, my friend, was just going crazy looking around the bus, and his uncle was talking to Jeremiah.

We left the bus and we reminded him, I was still ticketless, so he just brought us through the back, into the fillmore which is a amazing building! I loved it, there were these crazy purple chandeliers dangling from the ceiling, and we spent like 20 minutes trying to find the vip box (which honestly I wish I was in the pit). He left to get ready, so we went up and just sat around for another hour, until a nice girl Rachael approached me and started to converse with me and eventually luke, she was fucking pumped as all hell, I talked to her for a bit but I couldnt keep up with her because she was going crazy, about the band, about her day, how she got so worked up that it was sold out cried at work and paid 80 bucks for a ticket and asked us how we got ours "we got them for free" "I hate you guys... How?" "we know the drummer" "I hate you guys.".

So to you who arent familiar with the Fillmore its a crazy indoor pit pretty much that fits like 2000 people, and there was even a really shitty mosh (warped had better moshes which was embarrassing but Im so done with moshing anyway), so the started band was... well decent but not just what I wanted to listen to at all.

They played "The bird is the word" in like a punk rock, nofx type thing, but they did not know how to end a song at all. Nofx gets that punk should be short and sweet, not too repetitive, but this band, were playing 5 minute songs! and they were the most repetitive shit ever, that bird is the word song went on for like 6 minutes and I was just looking around and no one seemed into it.

So an hour after that band Modest Mouse comes on stage, and they are fucking unbelievably good live. The crowd was going crazy, the pit was on beat the whole time, crazy red white and black lights, I didnt know much of the music being that I never have really listened to all their stuff, but its great live! They are one of those bands that you dont like much, they are somewhat mellow but then in concert they are fucking crazy.

We had after show tickets but, I didnt know what that was so I just left, it was a great concert go see them if you have the chance.

Next up is weezer which Im almost certain I will not attend. Billy Talent is a band I know all songs but no one else does so that will be a advantage for me. So we will see what happens Ill try to find that picture of me and Jeremiah, but it was me looking at some crazy fan girls ass because I didnt know the camera was going off and him looking and me trying to see where I was staring. Then I looked back at him and we just kind of looked at eachother and nodded it was pretty funny. But again I dont know if I can get it, we will see!
